Dr (Col) Pawan Kumar Garg is alumini of the prestigious Government Dental College, Rohtak under  MD University, Rohtak, in the year 1985. Interestingly,
He is from first batch of first dental college of Haryana and first student to join army from this college.

He has been practicing dentistry ever since.

Prior to join army, Dr Garg has served as Civil Dental surgeon in a private dental clinic (Gargs Dental Clinic, Rajouri Garden) and Indira Gandhi Medical College and hospital, Shimla.

Dr Garg has served as Dental Officer, at Army Dental Corps, India for 34 years. Dr (Col) Pawan Kumar Garg has been classified specialist (Periodontics).
He did MDS ( Periodontics) from Army prestigious institution, AFMC, Pune,
University of Mumbai in the year 1993.

He has been associate Professor and PG Guide at AFMC in Dept of Dental surgery. He has been MUHS, Nashik recognized PG teacher and examiner in the field of Periodontics.

In Army, Dr (Col) Pawan Kumar Garg has served various institutions including CMDC Lucknow, CMDC Chandimandir, AFMC Pune, CME Kirkee, AWC, MCTE Mhow.
He has done various paid hand on courses in Periosurgery, Implants, Endodontics, Orthodontics.

He is PhD Guide of Yoga Samskrutum University, Florida, USA as well.
